Love Conquers All!

I had this thought about love conquering everything, but it really is true. Love really does conquer, but not in a way where it destroys because love doesn't destroy. Love conquers evil. Love conquers the darkness, because when love comes into your heart there really is no room for the dark thoughts. But love is more than most people make it out to be. Love is a kind thought to someone who has a need. It is a hug or a soft kiss on the cheek.

Love can also be the erotic kind but that is not really the kind of love that I want to focus on in this post. Not because I don't love that kind of love because I do. It's just because there's so much more to love than the kind of love that wants to have lots and lots of pleasure. The kind of love that givesmore than it takes is true love. this is the love that embraces other people not because of what they look like or how they act sometimes, but because this love wants to reach out and help others come to love others too. This is the kind of love that is spoken of as the kind of love that even would give it's life for another person. The kind of love that steps in to take a bullet for another person. The kind of love that lifts a heavy burden, or the kind of love that gives a hearing ear when a person is hurting. That's real love.

Wisdom for the Week...

Good afternoon to you all. Wisdom of the week.
Why are you carry does bags. It's full of Guilt. All you need to do is, settle them down
and troubleshoot them one by one. At the end, is either you will be on top or you won't, that's when you will know exactly what you're made of.

If

If by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you.
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat these two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

3. Click the Create a Page button that appears on the Right.

How To Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age

It's a new world out there and the way to win friends and influence people digitally is a relatively new idea. In some ways it may be easier to win friends and influence people over the electronic wires, since there are many things that you really don't need to worry about so much. Your appearance doesn't have to be perfect all the time since you can just post the perfect picture and you're there. You also don't have to worry about body odor. You may have not taken a shower in weeks, but your digital "friends" probably won't notice.

But those very things that might make digital friendship easier, could also make it harder. For instance, you can't literally go out to your favorite coffee shop with someone online so that makes things quite different. You also have to be more conscious of things that you may otherwise not think of, like "when I write this, how will it 'sound' when they read it online?"

It's not hard to set up a Facebook account and a Twitter account and a blog or two. But the real thing is how do you make connections that will turn into relationships which will ultimately work out for the advancement of your idea. Afterall, that's where influence comes in, when you've successfully built a relationship with someone who before was just a mere connection. That's what we will explore on The Jane Phillips blog–how you can make friends and influence people effectively in a big digital world.

The First Step: Connect

When you see someone who you think has a similar interest to you, you should connect with them. Say something to them. If they don't respond, your connection pretty much ends there. If they do respond (which if it's something that they're passionate about, they'll probably respond). If they respond respond back. That's a connection.

The Second Step: Connect Again

If you let a connection fizzle, you've wasted it. The best way to make friends online is to keep the conversation going. Once they respond, you respond back and repeat this process over and over again until you almost feel like you "know" who you're talking to. Now you're almost there.

The Third Step: Keep Communicating and Building the Relationship

The Third and final step is where the influencing people comes in. Once you've made a friend, you've got someone you can build a relationship with and relationships are about influence.
